"Ritratto a mezza figura su fondo neutro di Maria Giuseppina, che indossa un ricco abito, orecchini e girocollo. Mostra con la destra un bracciale diperle ed al polso sinistro ne porta uno uguale con un medaglione in porcellana col suo ritratto.

Quest'opera fa parte di una serie di ritratti, copia di quelli realizzatidal Mengs ai figli di Carlo III e alle loro mogli, conservati al museo delPrado di Madrid. Sono buone opere di bottega coeve alle originali e inviate a Napoli."
