Deutsch: Dieses Gebäude war einst der Sklavenmarkt der portugiesischen Stadt Lagos an der de:Algarve. Das Gebäude befindet sich auf der Praça Infante Dom Henrique und gilt als Denkmal von öffentlichem Interesse. Es wurde erst im Jahre 1691 gebaut, obwohl der Handel mit Sklaven aus Afrika bereits seit Mitte des fünfzehnten Jahrhunderts florierte und von hier Sklaven nach ganz Europa mit großem Gewinn für die portugiesische Monarchie und die Händler von Lagos verschifft wurden.
English: This building was once the slave market of the Portuguese city of Lagos, Algarve. The building is located on the Praça Infante Dom Henrique and is classified as a monument of public interest. It was built in 1691, although trade flourished with slaves from Africa since the mid fifteenth century and from here slaves were shipped throughout Europe at great profit to the Portuguese monarchy and merchants of lagos.
Français : Ce bâtiment était autrefois le marché des esclaves de la ville portugaise de Lagos, Algarve. Le bâtiment est situé sur la Praça Infante Dom Henrique et est considéré comme un monument d'intérêt public. Il a été construit qu'en 1691, bien que le commerce a prospéré avec les esclaves d'Afrique depuis le milieu du XVe siècle et ont été expédiés d'ici esclaves en Europe pour des profits énormes pour la monarchie portugaise et les marchands de Lagos.
