Summary edit

Description Another SL, this time a classic R107 with the 3.8L V8. The R107 started production in 1971 and they didn't stop making them until 1989! Aside from the G class, which appeared in 1979 and amazingly still soldiers on (until 2015), this has the longest production run of any other Benz. The 380SL here was in production between 1980 to 1985 making it just over mid way through the SL lifecycle. It's somewhat amazing to think that they went from this to the R129 in 1989, a real quantum leap forward in pretty much everything.
