Description
English: East end of north rail of bridge on the Meridian Highway in Pierce County, Nebraska; seen from the south. The bridge carries county road 853 Rd across a small tributary of the North Fork of the Elkhorn River just west of county road 552 Ave. 552 Ave south of this bridge, and 852 Rd west of it, are part of a 4.5-mile (7.2 km) segment of the highway that is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The bridge, built about 1920, is constructed from steel I-beams; it has a lattice railing and a concrete deck.
