Medical personnel assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) simulate aiding an injured casualty role player during a casualty evacuation drill aboard the ship April 7, 2017. The 24th MEU is underway with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
