English: Brenninckhof, an old farmhouse, in Mettingen-Wiehe, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Deutsch: Brenninckhof in Mettingen-Wiehe, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Der Brenninckhof ist der Urhof der Mettinger Bauerschaft Wiehe und Ursprungshof der Familie Brenninkmeyer (Brennikmeijer). Nachdem das historische Gebäude nebst benachbarter Gaststätte aufgrund von Bergschäden von der DSK Anthrazit Ibbenbüren GmbH (jetzt: RAG Anthrazit Ibbenbüren GmbH) aufgekauft worden war, wurde im Sommer 2005 zunächst ein Abriss befürchtet. Im Sommer darauf kündigte die DSK jedoch an, den Brenninckhof renovieren und zu einem Begegnungszentrum umbauen zu wollen. Dabei ist es jedoch bis zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme dieses Fotos geblieben, das Gebäude verfällt vielmehr zusehends. |
