Description
English: Mexico 1914-07-09 philatelic local Sonora cover showing bisect use of the 10c transitorio issue to make the 5c first class rate for a letter weighing under 0.7 ounce / 20 grams. Canceled in Nogales, Sonora 1914-07-09. The Transitorio stamps were issued from January-July 1914 by the Constitutionalist and printed in San Antonio, Texas. According Stanley Gibbons the bisects were postally used only between 16-26 July 1914.
