English: In St Madeleine church, Montargis, Loiret, Gâtinais, région Centre, France. Stained-glass window featuring converted Japanese; this is the only stained-glass window in a French church, featuring Japanese people. It is the second window in the south aisle, coming from the main entrance which opens on the rue du Cerceau (west side of the church). Français : Montargis, Loiret. Eglise paroissiale Ste Madeleine. Vitrail représentant des japonais convertis. Ce vitrail est le seul vitrail dans une église française, représentant des japonais. Il se trouve dans le collatéral sud, dans la chapelle dédiée à saint François-Xavier, à droite en entrant par la porte principale qui se trouve rue du Cerceau (côté ouest). |
