English: "Nebula Sunset." I painted this 34" x 46" painting in 1974 in acrylics and used an airbrush. It depicts a nebula beginning to blow away the Earth's atmosphere. I love big, rooster-tailed waves, sunsets, astronomy, and apocalyptic movies. So I put it all in this painting, which became a cover for my coffee table art book, Michael E. Arth: Introspective 1972-1982, published in 1983. The license only applies to this lower resolution version. |
