English: View from the top of the Michigan Goodrich Garage looking north at a quartet of old Victorian houses on Best Street in the Masten Park neighborhood. This used to be one of the worst slums in the city; now, thanks to the Medical Corridor, property values are through the roof. The yellowish brick building above them is the former Millard Fillmore Hospital on Gates Circle, which moved to the Medical Corridor last year and became Gates Vascular Institute. |
