הספר מתאר את "כתב עבר הנהר" של העבריים, לפני שאימצו את הכתב הארמי ("אשורי"). למעשה הכתב שהיה בשימוש העבריים הוא הכתב העברי הקדום, ואילו כתב זה הוא תרשים של כתב מאגי שפורסם על ידי מיסטיקנים בשלהי ימי הביניים כ"כתב שמיימי" או "כתב של המלאכים" שהיה בשימוש בני ישראל בעבר הנהר כביכול. ראו W:Transitus Fluvii. |
