Português: "Uma fita cinematographica exhibiu, num d'estes dias, um doloroso contraste entre forças brazileiras e bolivianas na fronteira de Matto Grosso com a Bolivia. Do nosso lado, apparecem em bando disperso, homens sem uniforme, sem instrucção militar, bizonhos e ridiculos, a fingir uma parada militar, e são passados em revista pelo não menos grotesco e ridiculo general Caetano de Albuquerque. Pouco mais adiante, em Puerto Suarez, Bolivia, assistimos á formatura e evoluções de uma companhia de militares superiormente instruidos, e cujos exercicios nada ficam a dever aos do nosso Batalhão Naval. O Sr. ministro da Guerra teria visto essa fita?"

Non artistic photographs continued entering the public domain until 20 June 1998 (not included), when Law 9.610 came into effect, 120 days after publication (pub. 20 Feb 1998).
