| Description |
English: Milk stand for Penrallt Gillo Before milk was collected in bulk by a milk tanker, farmers used to put out their churns of milk on stands like this beside the road. Though much overgrown by bushes and ivy, you can see that there are some steps leading up to the flat top of this stand, which was at a convenient height for the churns to be loaded on to the milk lorry. |
