Summary

edit
Description
English: Mill Hill: John Keble Church Built between 1932 and 1936 to serve the rapidly growing population of Edgware and Mill Hill, the church is named after John Keble (1792-1866), a churchman and a leader of the Oxford Movement. This was an affiliation of High Church Anglicans, most of whom were members of the University of Oxford, who sought to demonstrate that the Church of England was a direct descendant of the Church established by the Apostles. It was also known as the Tractarian Movement because of its publication of a series of documents or tracts. Keble College, Oxford, was founded in 1870 in his memory. The Church's website is here http://www.johnkeble.org.uk/ (Apologies for the poor quality of the photo with the prominent skip and the cross lost in the sky)
