| Description |
English: Mill buildings, Britannia Road, Golcar These are part of the Britannia Mills Trading Estate. The building on the left looks like the offices of the mills, and is dated 1897. It has the type of ventilator used for meeting rooms at that time. Presumably the board of directors all smoked pipes or cigars during meetings! To the right of it is some kind of workshop, with large ventilators on the roof and a 'taking-in' door to the first floor. |
