Summary

edit
Description
English: This stunning waterfall is located in Budderoo National Park, Australia. It was discovered in the early 1800s by timber getters. A Kiama Council Ranger and a conservationist, Howard Judd worked to protect its natural beauty. The falls were once open to the public as a swimming hole and became crowded in summer. Judd oversaw the construction of a fenced-off boardwalk in the Minnamurra Rainforest, and a viewing deck that overlooked the falls. These installations deterred visitors from trampling the forest and climbing in/around the falls. To protect this site, swimming in the falls is prohibited and park rangers continuously monitor the site.
