| Description |
English: Taken at Concordia, this was the view towards to south-east at night. Sitting there at the camp we could clearly see the Milkyway emerging from behind the Mitre peak like a series of jewels perfectly knit together and moving collectively. It also gave us a unique perspective on the movement on earth. |
