Description
English: Postcard of a mobile mooring dock for airships. The company Goodyear-Zeppelin was a joint venture between the US Goodyear company and the German Zeppelin company. The partnership began circa 1929 and ended circa 1939-1941 due to political changes in Germany. The dock is at the Goodyear Airdock in Akron, Ohio. The Airdock hangar is seen at the right of the card.
