Description: "Modified uniforms for women of the Naval Service featured at Pentagon showing. Six of six. The 'new look' in uniforms for the women of the Naval service. Main feature of the new, modified uniforms are longer skirts and the replacement of the blue braid on officer's uniforms by the conventional gold braid, such as is worn by the male officers. Above are, left to right, Miss Marsen, Yeoman, 2nd Class, modeling the blue uniform; Miss Kane, Personnel man, 1st Class, , modeling the gray summer working uniform; Miss Knaus, a Mainbocher model, displaying the evening dress uniform; Miss Hamilton, a Mainbocher model, showing the white dress uniform, and Miss Miller, Yeoman 2nd Class."
