According to the photograph's caption on Flickr, it was published on 11 May 1944 in the 830th issue of weekly magazine Rose al-Yūsuf. The people depicted in the photograph are (from left to right):
  • Queen Farida (1921–1988), Farouk's wife;
  • King Farouk I (1920–1965);
  • Princess Nimet Mouhtar (1876–1945), Farouk's paternal aunt;
