Summary edit

Description
English: Comparison between the wingfeathers of Archaeopteryx and modern birds. Wings of flightless birds (Gallirallus and flightless cormorant (phalacrocrocorax harrisi)) and have feathers with very symmetrical vanes, while flying birds (see the other feathers) are asymmetrical. Many have suggested Archaeopteryx was a poor flyer, based on different reasons. But at least the feathers indicate it was a proficient flyer.
