Description
Deutsch: Der Mohnanbau in Germerode am Hohen Meißner begann in 2010 und in jedem folgenden Jahr vergrößerte sich die Anbaufläche. Anfangs blühte der Mohn auf 1,5 Hektar, in 2018 wurden schon rund 20 Hektar bestellt. Mit der Zahl der Felder wuchs auch die Zahl der Besucher. In 2017 sollen es 25.000 gewesen sein, schätzten die Verantwortlichen. Die Felder sind nicht umzäunt und frei zugänglich. Rund um die Blüte, die meist nicht vor Ende Juni beginnt, gibt ein umfangreiches Veranstaltungsprogramm.
