Summary edit

Description
English: Yanai Mala (Elephant Hill) is a sitting elephant-shaped granite hill with boulders near northeastern Madurai. It contains several historic Hindu and Jain temples and rock reliefs from the 6th to 12th-century, with inscriptions that likely predate these monuments. It is a protected monument and a tourist attraction in Tamil Nadu, India.
