Le mont Mégantic, situé dans le Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, au Québec, est la plus orientale des Collines Montérégiennes dispersées d'ouest en est dans la plaine du fleuve Saint-Laurent. Avec une altitude de 1,105 m, il est le plus élevé de ces collines. Formé de roches ignées intrusives, il correspond géologiquement à un pluton. Au sens géomorphologique il répond à la définition d'un inselberg.
English: Mont Megantic (seen from Stoke Mountains, by Belhu), is located in the Mont-Mégantic National Park, in Quebec, and is the most eastern of the Monteregian Hills scattered from west to east in the plains of the Saint Lawrence River. With an altitude of 1,105 m it is the highest of these hills. Geologically it is formed from igneous intrusive rocks corresponding to a pluton. In geomorphology it corresponds to an inselberg (monadnock).
