Description
English: On the Moon, between crater Plato (upper left) and crater Cassini (lower right) lies the Montes Alpes range. This screen snip, taken from Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter data, also shows the eastern edge of Montes Teneriffe, Rimae Plato, Valis Alpes, Mons Blanc, Promonitorium Deville, Promonitorium Agassiz, Mons Piton, the northern part of Kirch, Piazzi Smyth, Mons Pico, and Pico Beta.
