Description

Document BANQ / Montreal Map: Joseph Bouchette (1774-1841). Relevé de 1815 révélant l'emplacement de l'ancien cimetière protestant (qui deviendra le Square Dufferin vers 1870), à l'intérieur des limites de l'ancien "Près de Ville". On y mentionne, outre les bâtiments Lemoyne de Maricourt et Marchand de Lignery, le nom de Côté qui a probablement laissé son nom au bout de rue qui traverse ce secteur encore aujourd'hui.

Secteur mieux connu aujourd'hui sous l'appellation "China Town"
