Description
Nederlands: Dit monument is gemaakt en opgebouwd in 1985. Het kwam in de plaats van een plaquette achter op de Grote Kerk. Een oorlogscomité heeft zich een aantal jaar hard gemaakt voor het verkrijgen van een waardige gedenkplek. Dit heeft uiteindelijk geleid tot het ontstaan van dit monument.

De binnenkern is van baksteen opgemetseld waaromheen later de keramische muur is gemetseld. De maker is Kees van Renssen.

Na 33 jaar in weer en wind ziet het monument er nog goed uit, al brokkelt het hier en daar.
