Description
English: The monument to Christ the King is a white marble structure in the grounds of St Patrick's Cathedral, Karachi, Pakistan. This monument stands overlooking one of the busiest streets of Karachi Shahrah-e-Iraq. The idea was conceived in 1927 by the Jesuits missionaries who came to South East Asia to spread the Gospel as in Christianity. It was complete in 1931 & stop has a statue of Christ dedicated to the Scared heart of Jesus and to honour Christ as Universal King.
