Español: Detalle del monumento funerario dedicado a William Mark (1782-1849) en el Cementerio Inglés de Málaga. William Mark fue el cónsul británico que creó el Cementerio Inglés de Málaga. Llegó a la ciudad en 1816 después de servir en la Marina Real, y fue nombrado Cónsul en 1824. La imagen muestra uno de los soportes de metal de la verja que rodea su tumba. Se trata de una composición de tres delfines que enrollan mutuamente sus cuerpos y reposan sus cabezas sobre el suelo mientras mantienen sus colas apuntando hacia arriba.
English: Detail of the grave monument to William Mark (1782-1849) at the English Cemetery in Málaga. William Mark was the British Consul who created the English Cemetery in Malaga. He arrived in the city in 1816 after serving in the Royal Navy, and was appointed Consul in 1824. The image shows one of the metal supports of the fence that surrounds his tomb. It is a composition of three dolphins that roll up their bodies and rest their heads on the ground while keeping their tails pointed upwards.
