BIOGRAPHY

Pedro Cabrita Reis (Lisboa, 1956) é um artista plástico, pintor português.

Estudou no Liceu Pedro Nunes, em Lisboa. Formou-se na área de Artes Plásticas - Pintura, na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa.

Pedro Cabrita Reis é um dos principais artistas de sua geração. A exposição em Kunsthalle Hamburg foi a sua primeira apresentação num museu alemão. Expôs e participou em numerosas exposições internacionais, incluindo a Documenta IX, em 1992, em 2003, representou Portugal na Bienal de Veneza. Atualmente, participa na X Bienal de Lyon, com duas grandes obras. Em Hamburg Kunsthalle apresentou cerca de sessenta esculturas, incluindo pinturas, desenhos e fotografias.
