Deutsch: Die denkmalgeschützte Monumentenbrücke in Berlin-Schöneberg führt die Monumentenstraße über die Trassen der Nord-Süd-Fernbahn und der Anhalter Vorortbahn (S-Bahn). Sie bildet einen Osttausgang der von Gleisanlagen umschlossenen Roten Insel. Die Balkenbrücke aus Stahl wurde 1929/30 nach Entwürfen von Carl und Ewald Usinger erbaut.
English: The Monumentenbrücke is a listed street-bridge of the Monumentenstraße in Berlin-Schöneberg, Germany, crossing some train-lines. The steel-bridge was built in 1929/30 by Carl and Ewald Usinger. It’s situated at the eastborder of the neighborhood Rote Insel (literally, Red Island). |
