Description
Italiano: Monumento al carrista del deserto. Opera a ricordo del XXII Btg. Carri e dei caduti militari e civili nelle missioni di pace internazionali.

Il busto bronzeo di un carrista del deserto sovrasta un cingolo con due pignoni, che esce da un muro di cemento. L'opera ricorda, tramite due targhe lapidee affisse ai lati, le unità che hanno costituito nel tempo il XXII Btg. Carri:il XXII Btg. Carri "Serenissima" (24/5/1964 - 31/8/1975), il 22° Btg. Carri M.O. Piccinini (1/9/1975 - 27/10/1991) e il 22/2 Rgt. Carri (28/10/1991 - 31/10/1995). Sul lato sinistro del pignone superiore il simbolo dei Lagunari e su quello destro la mostreggiatura del XXII Btg. Carri. Di fronte al monumento era un tempo operativa la dismessa Caserma Fratelli Dall'Armi, che ospitò i Lagunari ed i mezzi corazzati del XXII Btg. Carri.

L'inaugurazione è avvenuta il 30 aprile 2023.
