Description

O Monumento ao Ourives e à Ourivesaria, que é uma homenagem à indústria mais tradicional do Concelho, foi inaugurado em Gondomar. O monumento representa a história dos Ourives, da Ourivesaria e da Filigrana em Gondomar.

Representando um investimento de cerca de 400 mil euros, o Monumento ao Ourives e à Ourivesaria foi instalado numa das principais rotundas de acesso a Gondomar. Da autoria de Arlindo Moura, jovem de uma família de ourives de Gondomar, a obra representa aquilo que de mais tradicional e característico se faz no Concelho. O monumento, que apresenta duas vertentes (uma de homenagem à profissão, outra à Capital da Ourivesaria), é constituído por dois módulos: um pedestal, com um Coração em constante rotação, e, na sua base, o Ourives e a sua tradicional banca de trabalho. <a href="http://www.cm-gondomar.pt/frontoffice/pages/389?news_id=64" rel="nofollow">www.cm-gondomar.pt/frontoffice/pages/389?news_id=64</a>
