Summary edit
DescriptionMoored Narrowboats on the Grand Union Canal near Marsworth - geograph.org.uk - 1223771.jpg |
English: Moored Narrowboats on the Grand Union Canal near Marsworth This stretch of canal is part of the Marsworth flight of locks and the boats are moored between Lock 39 (by the White Lion Public House) and Lock 40.
It is not unusual to see a group of waterfowl at this point because it is close to the car park and some people bring quantities of bread to feed the birds. Present today are two swans, four Canada Geese and 8 Mallard (one pair by the swan and six drakes further away). |
