| Description |
English: Moorland southeast of y Bryn. Y Bryn is one of the western outposts of the Elenydd; land west of and below here tends to be enclosed farmland. The foreground stream valley is that of the Nant y Castell, with the western slope of y Garn on the left. The big lump in the background is Castell Rhyfel 519547, the site of an iron age hill fort overlooking Cwm Croes Fawr, which is the deep cut visible behind the green hills in the middle ground. |
