Summary

Description
English: Morani is a Maasai word for young men who have undergone circumcision. Most of them are 18 years old and above and are considered fit for marriage afterwards. The young men are taken to camp outside the village for a certain period of time and are taught "how to be men". The circumcision procedure is done with no aesthetics and they are told/encouraged not to cry to prove their manhood. Those who cry won't get a wife when the story goes around in the village.
