Summary edit
DescriptionMorning Reflection (7565105282).jpg |
I drove up to the San Juans in Colorado for a few days to try out my new D800E with the 16-35. This is a morning shot looking south across Crystal Lake with Red Mountain(s) in the background. I made a couple of stops at this location, one for sunrise and one for sunset. This (sunrise) shot has some things going for it: calm water fog on the water On the other hand, the sunset shots had better clouds and better lighting on the mountains. I will put up one of those eventually. The tracks on the water in this shot were made by some birds that were in the brush on the bank. They took off flapping and running across the water as I approached, eventually diving and making the little concentric ripples on the right side. |
