Description
English: This c. 1916 image shows [North] Park Place toward Speedwell. Trolley tracks can be seen on the right side of the street. On the left [from left to right] are the Babbitt Building, the Parker Buiding, the Hoffman Building, and the United States Hotel. The building at 17 North Park Place, seen in the center of the street, was A. G. Philips & Sons general hardware, which specialized in agricultural equipment. There were two coal companies, Pruden & Burke at 17 North Park Place and Consumer's Coal in the Hoffman Building.
