Description
English: Goncharnaya Embankment, Moscow, Russia. The grey block facing the river, built in 1940, was part of the "grand esplanade" that was designed in mid-1930s and never completed. The brick buildings to the right were added in the early 1960s.
Русский: Гончарная набережная, вид с Краснохолмского моста. Серый корпус вдоль реки - один из трёх корпусов несостоявщегося сталинского генплана. В начале 1960-х годов были достроены кирпичные корпуса справа, а разбирать запущенные старые кварталы вдоль набережной пришлось уже при Лужкове.
