  • October 17 (Julian) 1853 unpaid letter posted at Moscow. Handled by the department of 'Reception of incoming and dispatch of foreign correspondence'. The post office handstamped in red 'Porto'. 'MOSCOU OCTOB 17 *1853*' postmark applied.
