DescriptionMoscow Hammond Slides 64. Revolution Square.jpg |
English: These photos were taken by Thomas T. Hammond during his trip to the Soviet Union. This image features people walking on the streets in the snow. // Location: west side of present-day Revolution Square (although the street sign says Sverdlova Square). The two-storey yellow building will soon be demolished for the expansion of Moskva Hotel. The red building is the former City Duma building, later Lenin Museum, and now the museums of 1812 war. The film poster for the 1964 Alive and Dead sets the time. |
