A mother helps her son prepare for a folk dance by tying his belt for him.

| Description |
English: Near the Chimborazo Volcano in Ecuador, high in the Andes Mountains, there is a villiage called Pachancho. The children go to a school in the village where they learn folk dances. For this particular dance, the boys take of their belt so and weave through each other, forming a maypole type arrangement. At the end, they lasso the girls using their belts and the girls end the dance wearing the boys’ belts.
