An artist's depiction of a Nephite woman based on the Book of Mormon

Summary

edit
Description
English: An artist's depiction of a Nephite woman based on the Book of Mormon. She carries a jug on her head, probably implied to be made of ceramic, and she walks along what appears to be an unpaved path. There is a somewhat scraggly tree behind her. She is dressed after the manner of classical Euro-American depictions of biblical life.

Author Art in the book is credited to G. M. Ottinger, Wm. T. Armitage, John Held Sr., W. C. Morris, and "Others". The illustration list does not specify an artist for Mothers of the Nephites, so the artist may be among those "others".
