Description

This was one of the quirkiest exhibits in the museum, the motorbike wall.

Various motorbikes of different ages and styles sit on shelves along the wall. Although, the display of bikes would be interesting enough in itself, the whole exhibit is also an interactive game which up to 4 players can play using the touch screen consoles at the bottom of the photo.

It's a quiz game that poses various questions about the bikes such as 'which is lightest?', 'which is oldest?' etc which the players have to answer in the fairly short time limit.

The great thing about it is that the motorbike wall lights up the different bikes as you play e.g. when you make a selection it lights up that bike with your colour and darkens out the others.

I have to say I was really taken with this exhibit and I was playing around with it for quite a while (it must appeal to my juvenile mentality). With all the bright, flashing lights and the rapid fire questions it was just like being on a TV quiz show.
