Description
English: Overview of the rail lines at Mound City, Illinois, United States. Along what was once Commercial Avenue (now occupied by the rail line with hoppers on it) was formerly located the Mound City Civil War Naval Hospital, which was built in 1858. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, it has been destroyed, but not yet removed from the Register.
