English: "Mountain View," located 2 miles south of Chatham, Virginia, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. 8 x 10 black-and-white photographic negative by the American photographer and photojournalist Frances Benjamin Johnston. Circa 1930-1939. Part of the Johnston archives at the Library of Congress, donated to the Library by the photographer in perpetuity, hence there are no restrictions on publication, as per the Library web site.
