Summary edit

Description
English: Mouth of the River Aln The river flows strongly through this narrow gap to the open sea, created in 1806 when a storm broke through a narrow strip of land between the village and Church Hill. Today there is still technically a footpath across here, but it is not recommended to try to use it. The strength of the wind can be judged by the angle of the person walking along the shore.
