Description
English: Mrs. Comelia M. Stanley was a resident of Niagara Falls, New York and nurse who served under her maiden name of Miss Comelia M. Tompkins, during the American Civil War. Following her enlistment, she served for 25 months at Memphis, Tennessee and at the Benton and Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, Missouri. Post-war, she was a member of National Association of Civil War Army Nurses, and resided in Gardena, California in 1910.
