Description |
Mrs. John T. Morrison of Idaho is one of the prominent members of the advisory Council of the Congressional Union for Woman Suffrage. Mrs. Morrison is wife of the Governor of Idaho and took a prominent part in the Convention of the Congressional Union in that State. She with Miss Margaret Roberts are Chairman of a Committee to carry on the work of the Congressional Union in that State. Cropped version of the photograph published in The Suffragist, 3, no. 37 (Sept. 11, 1915): 5 (captioned: "Mrs. John T. Morrison, Idaho Member of the Advisory Council," illustration for the story "Senator Borah Affirmatively Opposes Federal Suffrage Amendment"), and The Suffragist, 6, no. 26 (July 20, 1918): 6. The Sept. 11, 1915 story identifies Mrs. Morrison as the wife of the governor of Idaho. |
