| Description |
English: Mudflats NW of Brean The limit of safe navigation. Several attempts to walk towards the tide-line were frustrated by deep, soft mud.
The mudflats are potentially dangerous and the surface texture gives little indication of firmness but metal and wooden stakes abound suggesting fish trapping was once practised. On the left and right horizon are Steep Holm and Brean Down with the coast of Wales in between. |
